March has arrived! With it comes the vernal equinox, the Full Worm Moon and the return of Daylight Saving Time.
The week before break, students enjoyed another earned PBIS celebration - this time it was a dance party! Enjoy some highlights from the "photo booth" below.
Family Conferences
It's time to schedule spring conferences! As a reminder, teachers may share information regarding student strengths and challenges outside of these established communication cycles and families are encouraged to reach out to teachers if they have questions regarding their child’s progress.
Family Conference Scheduling:
● The sign up window is open Saturday 3/9 until Wednesday 3/13.
● These Family Conferences are an opportunity to set/review goals for your child. Your child needs to be in attendance to participate in the goal setting exercise.
Step-By-Step Parent/Guardian Instructions:
Visit the school’s homepage http://tbps.wwsu.org and select “How Do I” and then select “Schedule a Conference.”
From the Online Scheduler Home Page:
Choose your student’s school from the drop down list and click “GO”
Enter the school password bps.
Enter your student’s “Student ID”. If you do not know their Student ID, use the LOOKUP STUDENT ID button to access the system.
Verify the student’s birth date
A list of your student’s teachers will be displayed. Check the box next to the name of each teacher(s) you would like to meet with.
If you have more than one student in the school you can see all of your students’ teachers’ schedules at one time by answering YES to this question “Do you want to schedule conferences for another student?” then repeat the steps above for your other students. If you only have one student, answer NO to that question.
You will then see the available time slots for each teacher you selected.
Select the times that work best for your schedule.
Enter your email address (recommended) if you would like an email reminder sent to you. (Your email address is kept private.)
Once you have finished you can confirm your appointment details and print your conference schedule. k. Write down the Confirmation Number (you will need this number should you need to cancel your appointment)

School Counseling Corner
Our school counseling team wants to send out a quick plug for families to check out the BPS Comfortship website with a host of resources. It has felt like a heavy couple of weeks, there has been a lot of grief and tragedy experienced around school and community. We want to remind everyone grief looks and feels different in all of us. There are many emotions, stages, and phases that come and go. Below are resources to help talk about grief and loss with children. Check out books to read with your child under the bibliotherapy tab. We hope everyone has a restful and rejuvenating break.
Warmly,
Ashley and Kately

Makersphere Scholarship Info
We would like to alert you to our scholarship program which can provide up to 50% of the cost of camp for kids you determine would benefit from art & making day camps. We work with Hannah's House which can often help offset costs for families who qualify. Families can write to MakerSpherevt@gmail.com and ask for information on scholarships. We also offer them during the academic year.
